Tonight was the annual Junior Class Play at the high school. This year's production was "Annie Play Will Do." The synopsis of the play from the program:

Because of a miscommunication with the principle, high school drama teacher Mr. Morris finds himself with only ONE DAY to cast, stage and perform the school play. In desperation, he turns to two of his best students, Paul and Laura, to take charge an co-direct the show, unaware that the two are in the middle of a nasty break-up and are no longer speaking. Things go from bad to much, much worse when Paul and Laura, practicing with their friends independently, don't realize they are rehearsing for DIFFERENT SHOWS, "Little Orphan Annie" and "Annie Get Your Gun." And the problem isn't discovered until the curtain opens. It's a theatre nightmare brought hilariously to life.

The kids did a very good job and were clearly having a lot of fun.

Real Estate

The 2010 Census numbers are in. Wyoming has 563,625 other people besides me. We continue to be the smallest state in the union. The District of Columbia even has more people (601,723). The state's population increased 14.1% since the year 2000.

NRA Banquet

Last evening was the annual Friends of the NRA Banquet at the fairgrounds. For $25 you get a prime rib dinner and entertainment playing various games and lotteries. There's also the fun of watching people pay way too much for stuff in a live auction. The Lusk banquet is one of the largest in the nation.

After last year, I knew to bring some cash. I "invested" $120 in 40 different lottery tickets. I had one winner.

My winnings:
